The Data Solutions Developer will design, develop, and optimize enterprise data warehouse solutions to support analytics and reporting initiatives, utilizing Azure cloud technologies and Power BI for delivering high-quality data solutions.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable and high performing data warehouse solutions
Build and optimize ETL/ELT processes using tools such as Azure Data Factory or SSIS
Develop complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and views for data transformation and loading
Integrate data from multiple sources, ensuring data quality, consistency, and availability
Work with Azure services including Azure SQL Database and Azure Data Factory
Develop interactive and insightful Power BI dashboards and reports based on business requirements
Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting needs and translate them into technical solutions
Monitor and improve data warehouse performance, ensuring uptime, data integrity, and scalability
Document data models, processes, and procedures
Performs other related duties as assigned

Required

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
3+ years of experience in data warehouse development and database programming
Proficiency in T-SQL and relational database design (SQL Server)
Hands-on experience with Azure data platform services (e.g., Azure SQL, Synapse, Data Factory)
Strong knowledge of data modeling techniques (star/snowflake schemas)
Experience in developing Power BI dashboards, reports, and data models (DAX, Power Query)
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Must demonstrate exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision
Criminal background check required for hire

Preferred

Experience with Davisware/Sage 300
Familiarity with QlikView/SSRS reporting tools
