Emerging Tech is hiring an experienced Radiologic Technologist to provide on-site diagnostic imaging services at the VA Community-Based Outpatient Clinic in Eureka, CA. This role supports a mission-driven healthcare environment focused on delivering timely, accurate imaging services to Veterans, where the technologist will perform routine diagnostic imaging and ensure high standards of patient care and safety.

Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic radiographic (X-ray) exams in accordance with VA policies, ARRT standards, and Joint Commission requirements

Prepare, position, and educate patients to ensure safe, accurate, and comfortable exams

Operate imaging equipment following manufacturer guidelines and VA-approved protocols

Ensure radiation safety, infection control, and proper use of protective equipment

Review images for quality and completeness prior to Radiologist interpretation

Document exams and patient information in VA electronic health records and PACS systems

Maintain clean, organized, and fully functional imaging rooms and equipment

Collaborate with providers, nurses, and support staff to ensure smooth clinic operations

Communicate urgent or abnormal findings to Radiologists per VA protocol
