Responsibilities
Draft and implement complex estate planning strategies, including:
Estate, gift, and generation-skipping transfer (GST) tax planning
Review and preparation of related tax returns
Manage estate and trust administration matters from inception through completion
Handle routine probate administrations independently
Advise clients and coordinate with accountants, financial advisors, and other professionals
Maintain direct client contact and provide thoughtful, practical guidance
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience practicing trusts and estates law
Strong background in sophisticated estate planning and tax-driven strategies
Demonstrated knowledge of Massachusetts probate and trust law
Ability to manage probate and trust administrations start-to-finish
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Client-focused mindset with the ability to build and maintain professional relationships
Preferred
LL.M. in Taxation or Estate Planning
