Responsibilities
Serve as the visionary leader for our client’s mobile app marketing, translating business goals into innovative, scalable growth strategies across diverse apps and markets
Develop tailored plans for each app, balancing market positioning, growth stage, and KPIs (e.g. CPI, ROAS, LTV, retention), while proactively guiding Microsoft through shifts like iOS ATT, SKAN, and Privacy Sandbox
Simplify complex technical topics into clear, actionable narratives for stakeholders from practitioners to senior executives
Inspire and align multi-disciplinary teams around a shared vision, fostering innovation, speed, and excellence
Lead comprehensive mobile media strategy and execution across an extensive ecosystem, including:
Search & Platform Networks (Apple Search Ads, Google UAC, Bing)
Major Social & Video Platforms (Meta, TikTok, Snapchat, YouTube, Pinterest, Reddit)
Programmatic & DSPs (Moloco, Liftoff, Smadex, Kayzen, InMobi, Digital Turbine)
OEM & Telco Partnerships (device pre-loads, app stores, carrier inventory)
Gaming & In-App Networks (Unity, ironSource, Vungle, Chartboost)
Native, Content Discovery & Emerging Formats (Taboola, Outbrain, CTV, audio, retail media networks)
Deploy diverse tactics such as app installs, re-engagement, OEM pre-loads, cross-promotion, SKAN-optimized buying, and product-led growth integrations
Integrate paid, owned, and earned efforts to deliver unified, cross-channel impact
Continuously evaluate new partners and formats to keep Microsoft at the forefront of mobile marketing innovation
Negotiate and manage strategic partnerships to secure premium placements, first-party integrations, and innovative solutions
Drive the vision for how data informs the client’s mobile marketing and business decisions
Develop strong POVs on app measurement best practices, including SKAN, privacy-first methodologies, and incrementality testing
Identify and lead initiatives to improve data aggregation and visualization—turning complex signals into clear, business-focused insights
Partner with analytics and engineering teams to define KPIs, guide dashboard development, and ensure privacy-compliant tracking via MMPs (AppsFlyer, Adjust, Branch)
Communicate insights with clarity and impact, enabling data-driven strategies across the client’s organization
Lead a multi-disciplinary team of mobile strategists, activation, analysts, and martech specialists dedicated to the client (will collaborate with SVP of Analytics and internal tech and data team)
Foster deep collaboration with teams across creative, media, analytics, and tech integration, both agency- and client-side
Mentor talent and champion a culture of excellence, speed, and innovation
Qualification
Required
15+ years of experience in paid media and digital marketing, with at least 5 years leading mobile app marketing strategy and execution for enterprise or platform-based clients
Proven success managing large-scale, global mobile campaigns across diverse app portfolios, audiences, and markets
Expertise in the modern mobile ecosystem, including: Mobile attribution and measurement (SKAN, ATT, Privacy Sandbox), Event-based optimization and user-level signal management, Lifecycle marketing and re-engagement strategies, OEM pre-loads and telco partnerships
Demonstrated ability to manage significant media investments and performance KPIs, balancing efficiency with business impact
Deep relationships with key platform partners—Google, Apple, Meta, TikTok—as well as Mobile Measurement Partners (MMPs) like AppsFlyer, Adjust, and Branch
Strong business acumen, with experience collaborating closely with product teams, analytics leaders, engineering partners, and senior marketing executives in complex enterprise environments
Skilled at translating complex technical and strategic topics into clear, actionable insights and executive-level narratives
