Responsibilities

Own and enhance acquisition strategies to increase premium acquisition and improve investment efficiency
Own, enhance and manage Affiliate and targeted channel acquisition strategies driven by economics of life time value with industry-best credit results
Continuously monitor new account acquisition performance, conduct deep-dive analyses to explore areas of opportunity, and implement credit controls to address potential/emerging risks for core and targeted acquisitions across channels
Track developments of acquisition journey in the external marketplace to understand industry best practices
Ensure adherence to credit risk compliance and sound risk management standards
Elevate customer experience by providing seamless underwriting and on-boarding experience
Influence Marketing and channel partners to enhance front-end back-end decision consistency, optimize top of the funnel traffic and drive premium applicant quality
Manage partnership with Marketing, Risk Products & Data Strategy, Decision Science, New Accounts Servicing, Fraud, CBO teams to enable enterprise-wide innovations

Required

Advanced Degree in a quantitative field such as Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Engineering, Computer Science or MBA with hands-on experience in analytics
Strong collaborative/interpersonal skills and ability to work in a dynamic, constantly evolving environment with strong attention to detail
Project management skills with demonstrated proficiency in leading multiple projects simultaneously
Outstanding strategic thought leadership with a focus on innovation
Self-motivated, results-driven, intellectually curious and leads with external perspective
Clear, effective written and oral communication skills
Expertise in underwriting or another core credit risk management function
Deep understanding of credit card economics and the payments industry
Externally focused and aware of the latest technology and market trends in payment, credit trends, credit behavior and external development in the lending industry
