Materials Engineering Intern
Johnson Controls is a global leader in smart, healthy and sustainable buildings, aiming to reimagine building performance. The Materials Engineering Intern will work within the BE Materials Lab team, performing sample preparations, microscopy, image analysis, and mechanical testing of materials.

Responsibilities
Sample Preparations of ferrous and non-ferrous alloys
Etching, polishing and microscopy of various metallic alloys
Use of Image Analysis software for documenting and analyzing various microstructures
EDS/SEM analysis of materials including imaging and spectral analysis
Mechanical testing of materials
Qualification
Required
Current Junior or Senior in a relevant Engineering field at an accredited university
Preferred
Candidates with a major in Materials Science or with strong background or experience in Materials preferred
