Manager Public Affairs and Marketing - Austin
Texas Children's Hospital is looking for a Manager of Public Affairs and Marketing in Austin, who will lead regional storytelling and community engagement strategies. This role is responsible for enhancing the local profile of the hospital's services and building strong external relationships.

Responsibilities
Develops and executes strategic public affairs and marketing plans to strengthen the organization’s presence across markets and campuses
Partners with service line leaders and local executives to understand growth priorities and develop targeted marketing initiatives that increase awareness of key programs and services
Builds and maintains strong relationships with community partners, civic organizations, advocacy groups, schools, and local leaders
Monitors local issues and emerging trends that may impact the hospital’s reputation or community standing
Develops high-quality content for local media, social platforms, community communications, and internal stakeholders
Works closely with enterprise marketing, public affairs, digital, clinical, and operational teams to ensure alignment across markets
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in public relations, communications, marketing/advertising, journalism or related field required
8 years of experience in public affairs, marketing, media relations or community engagement experience required
Preferred
Healthcare, nonprofit or academic medicine experience preferred
Bilingual communication experience preferred
