Responsibilities
Program, commission, and debug automation equipment
Work office + shop floor in Van Wert
Interface with Mechanical/Electrical Designers and Assembly
Direct customer interaction (Runoff, FAT, SAT, Acceptance)
Travel to customer sites for install & training
Qualification
Required
Mitsubishi PLC experience REQUIRED
5–10 years of experience for Level III Controls Engineer
10+ years of experience preferred for Level IV Senior / Lead Controls Engineer
Must be able to program within budget
Must be able to concept & support quoting
Must be able to lead small–mid project teams
Must be able to troubleshoot PLC, robots, vision systems
Must be able to interface professionally with customers
Must have real experience with PLCs / PACs (multi-platform)
Must have real experience with Robotics (multiple robot brands)
Must have real experience with Vision systems
Must have real experience with Commissioning + Debug (shop floor & customer site)
Must have understanding of labor hours & project scope
Travel with equipment to customer sites for installation, training, and support
US Citizen or Green Card only
Preferred
10+ years of experience preferred for Level IV Senior / Lead Controls Engineer
Mitsubishi PLCs
Automotive manufacturing
Honda programs or glass sealing / adhesive processes
MES / Data Collection integration
