The role involves developing and supporting applications for real-time transaction processing and ensuring the highest standards of availability, performance, and security.

Responsibilities

Develop and support applications involved in real-time credit card transaction processing, including POS swipes and online purchases

Work on a high-performance, high-availability platform managing large transaction volumes in a 24/7 environment

Perform coding, troubleshooting, debugging, and performance optimization of NonStop applications

Design and support HPE NonStop operational activities, including:

System health checks

Password rotations

Certificate renewals

License key renewals

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless system integration, reliability, and operational stability

Support monitoring and performance tools to proactively identify and resolve system issues

Qualification

Required

Strong expertise in TACL and HPE NonStop (Tandem systems)

Hands-on experience with Prognosis and MOMI (Monitoring of NonStop Information)

Experience working in high-volume, high-availability financial transaction systems

Solid programming skills with the ability to write clean, efficient, and well-documented code

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities in mission-critical environments

Preferred

Hands-on experience with Python as a secondary programming language

Working knowledge of Java for application or integration support

Familiarity with Ansible for scripting and automation (training can be provided)

Experience with APIs and system integrations

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team

Strong analytical and communication skills
