Responsibilities

Remove, disassemble, assemble, and install components and parts

Identify problems and causes of failure through logical troubleshooting steps

Determine reusability of parts in accordance with published Caterpillar reusability guidelines

Order replacement parts ensuring that parts ordered are correct and complete at the time of order

Clean, repair, recondition, and maintain engines, generators, and components

Test, measure, and adjust engine and power system components

Prepare, inspect, and operate engines and generators prior to completion

Prepare inspection and appraisal reports

Prepare accurate and complete service reports timely

Keep up to date with developments in tooling, technologies, and systems

Flexible to work after hours when needed to meet customer needs

Perform related duties as assigned
