Marathon TS is seeking an Avaya Voice Engineer to provide Base Telecom Support at the Puget Sound, WA. The role involves operating and maintaining government-owned telephony switches, ensuring secure and reliable voice and data services in support of C4I operations.

Responsibilities

Operate and maintain government-owned telephony switches (PBX), including: Avaya Systems CM4.0
Perform:
Troubleshooting and repair of switch issues
Software updates and patching
Installation and configuration of switch hardware
Daily operation monitoring
Support for voicemail systems and IPE (Remote Intelligent Peripheral Equipment)
Utilize company vehicle to travel to remote locations weekly
Ensure switch systems remain fully operational and compliant with DoD/Navy standards
Other duties as assigned

Qualification

Avaya Systems CM4.0Avaya Certified Support SpecialistCisco Certified Network AssociateIAT Level IIRed Hat Certified System AdministratorMicrosoft Certified Solutions AssociateDoD network experienceTroubleshootingInstallationConfigurationOperation monitoring

Required

2 years of experience required
Prior experience within DoD networks
Avaya Certified Support Specialist (ACSS) or equivalent
Nortel Meridian System Administration or equivalent
IAT Level II (per DoD 8570.01-M) (received within 90 days of starting)
Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or equivalent
Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) or equivalent
Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) or equivalent
Ability to Commute: Oak Harbor, WA 98277 (Required)
Education: Associate's degree or higher in IT or Cybersecurity
