Associate Director, Clinical Pharmacology

Responsibilities
Work as clinical pharmacology representative in close collaboration with multidisciplinary team to progress the drug candidate from preclinical and clinical development to successful approval
Provide clinical pharmacology and nonclinical (Drug Metabolism and Pharmacokinetics (DMPK) expertise to projects including study design, planning, oversight as well as data analysis, interpretation, and reporting
Provide clinical pharmacology support and leadership in preparation of various regulatory documents including study protocol, CSR, Investigator's Brochure, Clinical Pharmacology section of INDs, CTAs, and NDAs
Develop population PK, exposure-response, mechanistic PK/PD, PBPK and QSP models, as needed, to evaluate risk/benefit and facilitate drug development decisions
Provide clinical pharmacology leadership on multi-disciplinary teams for oncology programs including modeling & simulation to satisfy world-wide regulatory requirements
Independently lead the clinical pharmacology strategy for clinical development project and serve as clinical pharmacology expert to provide clinical pharmacology support to program team
Effectively interact and manage collaboration with CRO and external consultants for outsourcing activities
Coach and mentor junior scientists within the clinical pharmacology team
Successful candidates will be detailed-oriented and possess the ability to conduct multiple tasks while maintaining an elevated level of quality
Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills
Qualification
Required
MD, PharmD, Ph.D. in Clinical Pharmacology, DMPK, Pharmacometrics, Clinical Medicine, Biology, or other closely related fields with a minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Chinese (strong preferred)
Demonstrated experience in DMPK and clinical pharmacology
Extensive background knowledge in clinical pharmacology and DMPK
Strong organizational and time-management skills include the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Excellent organizational and people skills, with proven ability to develop positive working relationships with individuals and teams both internally and externally
Able to work, with a sense of urgency, in a matrixed environment
Able to work well both independently and as part of a team
Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills
Detail-oriented with the ability to conduct multiple tasks while maintaining an elevated level of quality
Preferred
Experience in Pop PK, E-R analysis, PK/PD modeling
Bilingual skills in English and Chinese
