Responsibilities
Travel to customer sites to perform various installation and field service support activities
Assemble and wire various mechanical and/or electrical equipment according to drawings
Work from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions or defined plans to perform tests, verifications and troubleshooting
Compare design and installation drawings to ensure correct execution with the latest up-to-date plans
Assemble, wire and test control panels from wiring and physical layout plans provided by the engineer. Work with the engineer to resolve any identified design and/or drawing issues
Support engineering activities such as the testing, verification, modification, manufacture and assembly of specialized test equipment
Support site teams during engine testing
Help determine the methods or actions to be implemented to remedy malfunctions
Research and find original and alternative approaches to production problems
Follow the procedures and quality standards in force
Understand and follow all safe work practices, applicable third party safety training and any job site specific safety training provided/required by our customers
Support the Service Center department as instructed to assist in all after-sales service activities
Qualification
Required
Technical degree in electro-mechanic
General knowledge of mechanical, electrical and instrumentation systems
3 years' experience in a similar position
A strong sense of customer service and the ability to represent the company in a professional manner
