The Buckle, Inc. is providing a Women's Buying Internship designed to help students understand their retail business. The intern will study the overall buying process while contributing to the business and gaining on-the-job experience.

Responsibilities

Utilize an understanding of the Buckle image, philosophy and goals to promote the image to Guests and Teammates

Assist with correspondence with vendors

Assist with all steps of the buying process, including: the fit process, vendor communication, report generation and dissemination, product development, product reviews, purchase orders and the approval process

Organize and file buying related documents

Assist with the preparation and follow-up for the selection of product and the placing of buys for a variety of categories

Fulfill mission statement by performing job duties with a high level of customer service while contributing to a positive team spirit

Special projects and other duties as assigned
