$18/hr - $20/hrDigital Room is actively hiring for the position of Water Spider for their plant in Van Nuys, CA. The role involves monitoring and managing recycling processes, maintaining cleanliness on the production floor, and assisting with various operational tasks.

Responsibilities
Monitor and move recycle/scrap paper bins from cutting machines to the compactor as needed
Remove any label/vinyl waste from the production floor and ensure paper recycling bins are free of contamination
Transport pallets of FedEx Ground shipments off the production floor and into the FedEx trailer
Organize and stage jobs in the Bindery department by sorting them according to department and due date
Assist with jogging paper for Cutter Operators when required
Keep the production floor clean, ensuring aisleways remain clear of obstructions
Report all workplace hazards to management immediately
Ensure all equipment, tools, and workstations are in good working order and free of safety hazards
Complete additional tasks assigned and be available for overtime as needed
Qualification
Required
Good problem-solving and organizational skills
Strong attention to detail
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
Effective communication skills with co-workers and management
Proficiency in using hand/power tools safely
Ability to multitask and adjust to changing priorities
Ability to recognize and address safety concerns promptly
