Account Director

Responsibilities
Working collaboratively in a matrixed sales environment providing expertise as the sales executive
Aggressively work the pipeline to meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue quotas consistently
Obtain the maximum sales revenue from each account and sales opportunity by recognizing the broader needs SmartIQ solutions can address
Establish the best possible long-term relationship with each prospect and customer to maximize future revenue opportunities, including meaningful business relationships with “C” level executives
Additional duties as required
Effectively managing the sales processes to drive maximum revenue, including:
Proactively engage in the direct and indirect channel sales process
Manage the commercial and legal negotiation process in partnership with Smart Communications’ legal representatives
Manage all stages of the sales life cycle to utilize Smart Communications’ resources effectively
Maintain accurate account, contact, and opportunity records in Salesforce.com weekly
Demonstrating strong communication and collaborative working skills by being able to:
Establish and build senior-level relationships across partners within the Smart Communications Smart IQ ecosystem
Build strong relationships with sellers of partner sales teams
Work collaboratively with internal teams, including pre-sales, professional services, alliances, and support to ensure that prospects’ and customers’ needs are met
Ensuring Smart Communications remains ahead of the competition by clearly articulating competitive knowledge to customers and prospects
Delivering revenue through direct selling and partner channels:
Exceed quota in annual software licensing targets, producing consistent quarter-by-quarter revenue through new business opportunities
Build a deep understanding of Smart Communications’ competitive advantage (specifically, the SmartIQ division) within the sector and be fully confident, presenting and demonstrating our product’s value proposition to prospects and partners
Work with internal teams to identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities through strategic marketing activities, including conferences, campaigns, and seminars leveraging your extensive market knowledge and leveraging our extensive partner network
Qualification
Required
At least 5 years experience selling end-to-end enterprise software solutions in a direct/indirect consultative and solution-based sales within the Healthcare Payer space
Proven record of meeting and exceeding aggressive monthly and yearly revenue targets consistently
Ability to travel, as needed, to support a multi-state regional territory
Preferred
Cloud or SaaS selling experience is a plus
Experience working for a start-up is a plus
