Assistant Project Manager
George Allen Construction Company is a premier construction firm specializing in commercial and railroad construction projects. The Assistant Project Manager will assist in project progression, generate status reports, and collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure project goals are met.
Responsibilities
Prepare drawings, sketches, change orders, estimates, and RFIs to facilitate project progression
Assist in generating project status reports, participating in meetings, and managing documentation for timely project closeout
Correspond with owners, contractors, subcontractors, engineers, and architects
Support and enforce safety program policies and procedures
Foster open communication and collaborate with project team members and supporting offices to achieve project goals
Understanding of civil, architectural, mechanical, and general construction principles
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field, or a two-year degree in a related field with field experience
Proficient in computer applications and familiar with project management software
Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures
Strong interpersonal skills and excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and adapt under time pressure
Understanding of civil, architectural, mechanical, and general construction principles
