Workforce Development Manager (One Stop System Director)

Responsibilities

Provide daily operational leadership for assigned workforce development grants and programs
Monitor program performance, service delivery, and outcomes to ensure compliance with funding requirements
Analyze performance data and key indicators to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities
Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to support coordinated service delivery
Oversee staff activities, provide guidance and coaching, and support performance management efforts
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local workforce regulations and policies
Support budget oversight, resource allocation, and financial performance for assigned programs
Identify operational gaps and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and service quality
Ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery across the Career Center System

Required

Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, Economic Development or related field
Four years of experience in workforce development, community development, business development or related field
Equivalent education and experience are accepted

Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work in a timely manner

Demonstrates excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
Detail-oriented with excellent follow-through skills
Ability to identify complex problems, review related information, develop and evaluate options, and implement solutions

Preferred

Strong team leadership or supervisory experience
Federal grant oversight and management experience (ideally Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA))
Process development leadership
Demonstrated experience with multi-county oversight responsibilities
