Responsibilities
Legal Advisory: Offer comprehensive legal advice and solutions to all aspects of the business, including contract negotiations, employment law, intellectual property, and corporate governance
Risk Management: Identify and assess potential legal risks and provide proactive strategies to mitigate these risks
Contract Management: Review, draft, and negotiate various contracts, agreements, and legal documents
Compliance: Ensure the company's adherence to all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards
Dispute Resolution: Manage and resolve legal disputes, including litigation matters when necessary
Policy Development: Develop and implement company policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance and best practices
Impeccable References: Maintain a network of trusted legal professionals and resources
Background Checks: Coordinate extensive background checks for employees and contractors as required
Qualification
Required
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and admission to the state bar
3-5 years of proven experience as in-house counsel
Exceptional legal acumen, analytical skills, and the ability to provide practical legal solutions
Impeccable references from previous positions and colleagues
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Ability to manage a high-volume workload with precision and attention to detail
Familiarity with relevant federal, state, and local laws and regulations
Experience within B2B and/or Industrial/Commercial construction industries
Experience in handling industrial or construction-related legal matters
Juris Doctor (Required)
Active Bar License (Required)
