Special Accounts Customer Service Representative

Responsibilities

Create, update, and maintain shipment documentation and records in the Customer Account systems
Serve as a point of contact for assigned accounts utilizing the customer's platform
Monitor, track, and manage shipment progress to ensure on-time pickup, transit, and delivery
Proactively communicate with clients and internal teams regarding shipment status, exceptions, or delays
Ensure compliance with applicable customs regulations
Support billing and invoicing by verifying charges, assisting with disputes, and resolving discrepancies
Identify areas for operational improvement and provide feedback to enhance account performance
Deliver excellent customer service, with a focus on responsiveness, accuracy, and problem-solving
Assist with onboarding new clients to the Customer's platforms as needed

Required

High school diploma or equivalent
1–3 years of customer service experience required
Proficiency in web-based platforms and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel)
Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and service quality
Customer service: 1 year (Required)
Computer skills: 1 year (Required)
Microsoft Excel: 1 year (Required)
Logistics: 1 year (Required)
Ability to Commute: Nashville, TN 37217 (Required)

Preferred

Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred
Experience in logistics, supply chain, freight forwarding, or customer account management preferred
Familiarity with freight forwarding operations and documentation (air, ocean, and ground)
