Responsibilities
Lead sourcing efforts for new product development, from prototype to full-scale production
Act as the commercial arm in supplier negotiations, supporting SOWs and joint agreements
Work with design engineers to select and onboard strategic suppliers, ensuring technical, cost, and quality alignment
Manage relationships with materials teams, engineers, and external partners to optimize sourcing strategies
Navigate complex supply chain dynamics, balancing category management and engineering priorities
Influence early-stage product lifecycle decisions and mitigate sourcing risks
Qualification
Required
8+ years of sourcing experience in semiconductor, aerospace, or related high-tech industries
Proven experience in complex electromechanical system sourcing & supplier development
Strong understanding of program management, product development, and supply chain strategy
Ability to operate in ambiguity, influence stakeholders, and drive cross-functional collaboration
Preferred
Engineering degree preferred (or equivalent technical experience)
Background in optics, imaging, or advanced materials is a plus
