Responsibilities
Disassemble decommissioned power distribution units. Some basic tools must be furnished by the associate
Salvage metals and useable parts from decommissioned power distribution units
Proper handling and disposal of oils, solvents and other liquid compounds
Move units down conveyor track from in-processing to decommission building
Ability to use hand and pneumatic tools
Operate forklift, overhead crane and other material handling equipment as needed
Responsible for all shop equipment and tools in his/her work area
Must be willing to work overtime and call-in hours as required
Work requires close interaction with other associates. Must be able to function in a team-oriented environment
Qualification
Required
Disassemble decommissioned power distribution units

Physical ability to perform heavy work, exerting up to 100lbs of force occasionally and/or in excess of 50lbs force frequently
Comfortable working in extreme heat and cold
Ability to use basic hand tools, gauges and test equipment
Must be self-directed and able to satisfactorily complete tasks in a timely and efficient manner with minimal supervision
Preferred
Valid US driver's license
