Mid LevelStrive Pharmacy is dedicated to providing personalized healthcare solutions through compounding. The Pharmacist will ensure appropriate dosing and verify compounded medications while upholding quality control and compliance with pharmacy standards.

Responsibilities
Checking entered prescriptions for accuracy and appropriateness
Performing calculations to ensure ingredients within a formula are measured and utilized properly
Visually checking lots compounded in sterile and non-sterile labs
Visually checking individual prescriptions to ensure color, consistency, and general appearance
Answering and making clarification phone calls dedicated for pharmacists
Counseling patients
Offering guidance to providers regarding appropriate therapy and dosing for optimal individualized care
Assisting with shared services under the Strive umbrella
Qualification
Required
Minimum of Bachelor of Science (BS) in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) Degree
Active TX Pharmacist license
Preferred
Experience in compounding
Understanding of aseptic technique
Familiar with USP guidelines
