Technical Product Owner- SAP SD
Schneider Electric is a global leader in energy management and automation, and they are seeking a Senior SAP SD Technical Product Owner to drive order execution, pricing, contracts, and logistics execution across the GSC landscape. This role involves translating business requests into scalable enhancements, owning requirements, functional design, and SAP SD configuration while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities
Engage business stakeholders to capture requirements; convert them into clear functional specs and end‑to‑end solution designs
Lead hands‑on SAP SD configuration (order types, contracts, pricing/taxation, billing, item categories, outputs) and coordinate unit/UAT through business sign‑off
Drive order management and execution integrated with upstream portals and EDI; own IDoc flows (orders in/out, ASN, invoicing) and customer change notifications
Serve as a Level‑3 solutioner for persistent issues, facilitate swarming, root‑cause analysis, corrective enhancements, and prevention plans
Collaborate with our technical team for any custom development that complements the functional solution
Align with program deployments (e.g., Titan), absorb post‑go‑live run‑state enhancements, and maintain lightweight, useful documentation
Partner with cross‑functional teams (Logistics, Manufacturing, Finance) to ensure data, process, and compliance readiness for releases
Champion continuous improvement, standardization, and best practices across the SD landscape
Qualification
Required
10+ years in SAP SD with 2+ years on S/4HANA; proven delivery across design/build/rollout/support on complex programs
Configuration expertise in order types, contract management, pricing/taxation, billing, item categories, copy control, text determination, outputs; logistics execution including delivery types, shipment processing and costs/settlement, packing proposals
Delivery scheduling; ATP & transfer of requirements; third‑party sales; intercompany sales; MTO; STO/cross‑company STO; IDoc processing; picking/packing; customer invoicing; returns
Practical command of EDI and IDoc outputs (order confirmations, ASN, invoicing) and portal‑to‑SAP order creation
Order‑to‑cash experience in ECC/S/4HANA; strong stakeholder communication; ability to frame trade‑offs and drive adoption
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience)
Ability to travel for go‑lives/critical meetings (up to ~20%)
Preferred
Manufacturing/plant exposure; touchpoints with FICO (invoicing/controlling); familiarity with GTS/Vistex; experience working with onshore/offshore teams
