Responsibilities
Perform and review month-end and year-end close activities
Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP
Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
Review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
Support internal and external audits, including preparation of audit schedules
Assist with process improvements and system enhancements
Provide guidance and oversight to staff accountants or accounting clerks
Collaborate with cross-functional teams as needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (required)
4+ years of progressive accounting experience
Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
Experience with full-cycle accounting and month-end close
Proficiency in Excel
Preferred
Prior supervisory or mentoring experience preferred
CPA or CPA-eligible a plus
