InternAntunes is seeking a talented and motivated Engineering Intern to join their Innovation team. The role involves designing, developing, and testing innovative solutions and prototypes while collaborating closely with the team and sometimes cross-functionally. The intern will participate in brainstorming sessions and communicate design ideas effectively through various means.

Responsibilities
Design, develop and test innovative solutions and prototypes for new and existing products
Participate in brainstorming sessions, design thinking, design research and user research to generate insights & validate design solutions
Develop and test prototypes to evaluate jobs to be done, performance, reliability, and safety
Present design concepts to internal teams and customers, incorporating feedback to refine solutions
Communicate design ideas effectively through detailed sketches, 3D models, prototypes, and presentations
Create and maintain detailed documentation for designs, specifications, and test results comprehensively
Support the Innovation department in achieving project goals and timelines
Perform other related duties as assigned by department team leader(s)
Qualification
Required
Proficiency in experimentation, prototyping, and creative problem-solving skills with a passion for innovation
Strong analytical skills and the ability to perform engineering calculations and simulations
Knowledge of electro-mechanical systems, including but not limited to hydraulics, pneumatics, and automation/robotics
Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and capable of working independently or as part of a team
Adaptability and willingness to learn and grow within a fast-paced environment
Detail oriented with a commitment to excellence in all aspects of design work
Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Bachelor of Science in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Mechatronics) or related experience
Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and customers
Preferred
Understanding of design thinking, design for manufacturability, and design for assembly principles
