Responsibilities
Conduct preventive maintenance (PM) and basic service on our systems, ensuring adherence to rigorous protocols and verifying instrument performance to Rigaku’s standards
Perform on-site troubleshooting using Digital Voltmeter (DVM) and qualify instruments post-service repair by executing operational and performance protocols
Coordinate customer support activities including scheduling WebEx sessions, phone support, and facility inspections, while ensuring customer satisfaction and acceptance of maintenance or repairs
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Minimum of 3 years' experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electro-mechanical, and/or electronic equipment
Proficiency in MS Office, basic network interfacing, and possession of a valid Driver's license
Preferred
Familiarity with analog electronics, high voltage circuitry, laser technology, and high vacuum systems
Excellent communication skills to convey complex technical issues effectively, especially with scientists holding advanced degrees
Strong organizational skills, ability to work independently with a team focus, and willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed
