Preparing, reviewing, and maintaining clients’ financial records, specifically related to sales tax
Confirming the accuracy of financial records
Timely and accurately preparing, filing, and paying clients’ sales tax returns across the U.S. and Canada
Qualification
Required
Detail-oriented and experienced accounting or bookkeeping professional
Problem-solving skills
Genuine passion for delighting clients
Extreme attention to detail
Expertise working within Excel
Familiarity with accounting and tax software programs such as QuickBooks Online, Shopify, WooCommerce, NetSuite, Avalara, TaxJar, and other commonly used software programs
Well organized
Effective at time management and prioritization
Ability to learn quickly and be open-minded to learning/acquiring new skills
Ability to receive feedback and constructive criticism
Preferred
Prior experience with filing sales tax returns
