Responsibilities
Design and govern enterprise-wide architecture strategies for applications, integrations, data, and infrastructure
Define and enforce architecture principles, standards, patterns, and best practices
Lead integration strategies across disparate systems, applications, and data sources
Support senior management in evaluating complex technology initiatives and investment decisions
Establish and manage an architecture review and governance process
Collaborate with security teams to ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements
Guide modernization initiatives, including legacy system transformation and cloud adoption
Translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and sustainable technical solutions
Prepare and maintain clear architectural documentation, reports, and data dictionary artifacts
Present architectural strategies and recommendations to executive leadership and stakeholders
Qualification
Required
Enterprise architecture decision-making under uncertainty with long-term strategic impact
Electronic data processing platforms and enterprise software systems
Database systems, data dictionaries, and enterprise data platforms
Application portfolio management, software design patterns, system integration, and SDLC
Data modeling, data governance, master data management, data warehousing, and analytics
Infrastructure platforms, middleware, development tools, and technology standards
Hybrid environments spanning on-premises and cloud-based architectures
Strong written and verbal communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences
Ability to clearly explain complex technical concepts to business stakeholders
Collaboration with cross-functional teams and senior leadership
Experience working within government or regulated environments
Preferred
TOGAF Certification, Certified Enterprise Architect, or equivalent enterprise architecture credential
Cloud architecture certifications such as: AWS Solutions Architect – Professional, Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect
Multi-cloud architecture experience
Leadership of large-scale digital transformation, cloud migration, or modernization initiatives
Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices
Executive-level presentation experience, including board or external stakeholder engagement
Ability to articulate technical strategy in clear business terms
