Engineering Intern

Responsibilities

Support engineering projects related to manufacturing processes, equipment optimization, and plant efficiency
Assist with data collection, analysis, and reporting to support engineering and operational decisions
Participate in plant floor activities, including process observation and basic troubleshooting
Help develop or update SOPs, work instructions, process flow diagrams, or engineering documentation
Contribute to continuous improvement, safety, and quality initiatives
Collaborate with production, maintenance, quality, and engineering teams
Learn about composite materials, resin and gel coat manufacturing processes, and plant operations
Develop professional skills in problem-solving, communication, teamwork, and time management

Required

Currently enrolled in a college or university pursuing a degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or related field)
Interest in manufacturing, process engineering, or industrial operations
Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills
Willingness to work in a hands-on, plant-based environment
Basic computer skills (Excel, Word, email, etc.)

Preferred

Prior internship, co-op, or project-based experience
Coursework related to chemical engineering, manufacturing, or materials science
Curiosity, initiative, and a continuous improvement mindset
