Responsibilities
Lead second-level managers and supervisors supporting eBilling and billing operations
Manage performance and KPIs across multiple service teams
Oversee billing administration, matter setups, rate administration, and service desk activity
Ensure high-quality responses to billing inquiries and escalations
Build process improvements, automation, and technology enhancement initiatives
Develop and enforce service standards, workflows, and escalation procedures
Partner with finance, billing, and IT leadership on system issues and enhancements
Provide training and guidance to managers and team members
Lead special projects related to automation, systems, or process optimization
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree (Business, Accounting, Finance or related)
8+ years related experience in legal billing or law-firm finance operations
Experience managing managers and overseeing multiple operational teams
Deep expertise in legal billing workflows and eBilling systems
Familiarity with Aderant billing platforms
Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills
Ability to drive large-scale improvements and manage competing priorities
Preferred
Master's Degree
ITIL/SDI/Service Desk certifications
Previous leadership of an eBilling function within a law firm
