Responsibilities

Familiar with Mitutoya / CMM processes to measure parts per customer, company, and schedule requirements
Collaborate with manufacturing, tooling, engineering, and quality personnel as needed on technical issues
Audits internal systems to determine the effectiveness of corrective action measures
Implements calibration activities to obtain minimum variances
Meets established standards for productivity and quality. Confers with supervisor when problems arise, which impact the expected level of performance
Responsible for supporting and ensuring compliance to ISO 9001/AS9100 Quality Management Systems and customer-specific requirements
Must contribute to a positive work environment
Performs any task required to support customer requirements and company goals

Required

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures
Ability to write routine reports and business correspondence and communicate effectively with customers or employees of the organization
Ability to manage multiple projects and schedule requirements
Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
The ability to sit or stand for at least 8 hours a day
The ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 40 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship

Preferred

Experience with the following software: CATIA/ENOVIA, MS OFFICE a plus
Ability to use and interpret aerospace drawings and specifications including strong GD&T skills and experience a plus
Experience with AS9102 FAI requirements and forms
