Responsibilities
Prepare and support quarterly and annual SEC filings
Compile, validate, and reconcile regulatory and general ledger data
Prepare state regulatory filings and compliance schedules
Analyze variances and trends, and prepare financial and statistical reports
Track regulatory deadlines and ensure all filings are completed on time
Support tax filings and coordinate data with external tax advisors
Maintain audit-ready documentation and respond to regulator or auditor requests
Identify opportunities to streamline and improve reporting and compliance processes
Qualification
Required
2+ years of accounting or financial reporting experience
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
Strong Excel skills and ability to work with large datasets (SQL a plus)
Familiarity with financial statements and regulatory or tax reporting
Experience with general ledger systems and reporting tools (Workiva a plus)
Highly organized, deadline-driven, and able to work independently
Preferred
CPA or Master's degree
Prior SEC, regulatory, or tax reporting exposure
