The role involves creating print and graphic designs for junior's apparel categories while staying on top of market trends and presenting original design concepts.

Responsibilities
Create print & graphic designs for junior's apparel categories
Create original artwork
Able to follow direction from design director and incorporate ideas/inspiration into original graphics
Stay on top of market trends and trend research & able to translate those trends into retailer appropriate graphics
Present original design concept ideas and be open to feedback
Create patterns and placed graphics
Create layout for cads
Qualification
Required
Excellent Illustrator/Photoshop skills
Prior apparel graphic design experience
Knowledgeable in current trend and apparel graphic designs
Must be able to multi task well in a fast paced environment and have strong attention to detail
Ability to work full time in the NYC office
Preferred
Candidates with references are always preferred by our clients
Hand sketching/painting skills a plus, but not mandatory
