Responsibilities

Conduct regular home visits to provide support and guidance to families with young children

Implement the Parents As Teachers curriculum and assess child development

Build strong relationships with families, develop goals, and connect them with community resources

Maintain records, ensure program compliance, and participate in professional development

Qualification

Required

Minimum two years of experience in working with families, children, educational systems, child development systems, or low-income families or any combination of education and experience that produces the required knowledge, skills, and abilities, and experience

A minimum of a CDA credential or relevant coursework as part of an associate's or bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Social Work, Human Development or a related field or be willing to obtain one within 18 months of hire

Bilingual skills in English and Spanish both written and oral are required

Must possess a valid driver's license, a satisfactory motor vehicle record and the ability to pass a background investigation. Reliable transportation is required

Ability to pass criminal and child abuse background checks is required
