The Grainger College of Engineering: Teaching Faculty (Open Rank) - Bioengineering
The University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign is seeking applications for an open rank, full-time teaching position in biomedical imaging and applied artificial intelligence within the Department of Bioengineering. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching at both the undergraduate and graduate levels while contributing to the department's excellence through service and curriculum development.

Teach courses in the Biomedical Image Computing graduate program and other relevant courses in Bioengineering degree programs
Qualification
Required
A doctoral degree in bioengineering or a related field is required at the start date
Competitive applicants will show promise of excellence in classroom instruction
Demonstrate knowledge of modern pedagogical practices
Must be able to teach effectively at both the undergraduate and graduate levels
Contribute to the excellence of programs through service to the department, the university, and the profession
Preferred
Capacity to teach courses in the Biomedical Image Computing (BIC) graduate program and other relevant courses in Bioengineering degree programs
