SVP, Revenue Cycle Management
Confidential company is seeking a Senior Vice President of Revenue Cycle Management who will oversee end-to-end revenue realization and RCM transformation across a large ambulatory care organization. The role involves standardizing and modernizing revenue cycle operations while leading change management and performance discipline across various teams.
Responsibilities
Own end-to-end RCM performance : scheduling → coding → billing → collections → cash application
Establish enterprise-wide RCM operating model, governance, and controls
Set and deliver against enterprise KPIs: Clean Claim %, First-Pass Yield, Denials, DSO, Cost-to-Collect, Cash Velocity
Lead large, multi-layered RCM organizations with clear accountability, productivity targets, and outcome ownership
Lead RCM standardization across multiple EMRs (eCW, athenahealth, Epic, and others) , including interim operating models during integrations
Drive automation, AI, analytics, and system modernization to materially reduce manual work and revenue leakage
Establish strong payor relationships and executive-level escalation paths to improve yield and timeliness
Partner closely with Clinical, Operations, IT, Managed Care, and Finance to align workflows and incentives
Lead RCM integration for acquisitions and new lines of business
Build a high-performance culture : top-tier talent, clear scorecards, continuous improvement
Qualification
Required
15+ years of progressive RCM leadership in large, multi-site healthcare provider organizations
Proven experience leading enterprise RCM transformations and change management
Demonstrated success standardizing RCM across heterogeneous EMR environments (eCW, athenahealth, Epic, etc.)
Deep understanding of FFS and value-based reimbursement models
Strong data, analytics, and technology orientation
Executive presence with ability to influence senior clinical, operational, and technology leaders
Preferred
Experience in PE-backed or high-growth environments
