Responsibilities
Design and build test apparatus, wire harnesses, and control panels for R&D systems
Select, program and configure VFDs, PLCs, and other industrial control components
Support system integration, troubleshooting, and validation of prototypes
Follow industry standard practices and regulatory standards like UL 508A, NFPA 79, and NFPA 70
Develop and maintain documentation including wiring diagrams, BOMs, and test procedures, using SolidWorks Electrical, Microsoft Office, and related software tools
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, science or related field
Minimum 5 years of experience in hands-on electrical product design, system integration or industrial automation (preferably in an R&D environment)
Proficiency with SolidWorks Electrical and familiarity with ECAD tools
Experience with VFDs, PLCs, and control system programming
Strong understanding of wiring standards, panel layout, and harness design
Excellent collaboration and communication skills
Preferred
Proficiency with Labview
