Computer Numerical Control Programmer
Aerosapien Technologies is seeking a skilled and experienced CNC Programmer to join their manufacturing team at their state-of-the-art facility in Ormond Beach, Florida. This role will focus on developing, optimizing, and maintaining CNC programs for precision machining operations supporting aerospace, defense, medical, or high-tech industrial components.

Responsibilities
Create, edit, and optimize CNC programs using G-code and CAM software for 3-, 4-, and 5-axis milling, turning, and mill-turn operations
Select appropriate tooling, fixtures, cutting parameters, and machining strategies to meet tight tolerances and surface finish requirements
Prove out new programs on the shop floor, perform first-article inspections, and troubleshoot machining issues
Collaborate with manufacturing engineers, machinists, and quality teams to improve existing programs and reduce cycle times
Set up and operate CNC machines as needed to support programming and process development
Maintain program libraries, documentation, and revision control
Implement process improvements, including tool path optimization, high-speed machining techniques, and automation integration
Support new product introduction (NPI) by developing programs for prototypes and low-volume production
Ensure compliance with AS9100 (if applicable), safety standards, and quality requirements
Qualification
Required
Associate's degree or technical certification in CNC Machining, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field
5+ years of hands-on experience as a CNC Programmer/Machinist in a precision manufacturing environment
Expert-level proficiency in CAM software
Strong G-code programming and editing skills; ability to hand-write or modify code at the machine control
Experience with multi-axis (4- and 5-axis) milling, live tooling lathes, and Swiss-style turning
Familiarity with CNC controls: Fanuc (most common), Haas, Okuma, Siemens, or Heidenhain
Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings, GD&T, and specifications
Proven track record of reducing cycle times and improving part quality through program optimization
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Willingness to work on-site in Ormond Beach and occasionally support different shifts as needed
Preferred
Bachelor's degree a plus
Mastercam (strongly preferred)
Experience in aerospace, defense, or medical device manufacturing is highly desirable (AS9100/ITAR familiarity a plus)
