Responsibilities

Perform various load balancer changes in accordance with project requirements

This includes building new configurations, such as new VIPs, and or WideIP setups

Modifying existing setups and troubleshooting application traffic issues flowing through load balancers

Qualification

F5 Load Balancing LTM GTMF5 iRulesTCP/IP NetworkingLoad Balancing SMEPythonRoutingSwitchingDNS ExperienceIControlsCapacity ManagementProgramming SkillsCommunication Skills

Required

Expert level on F5 Load balancing LTM GTM

Expert on F5 iRules control traffic flows and manipulate headers

Strong understanding of TCP/IP network communications

Good experience with F5 (GTM, LTM, SSL offloading)

L2/L3 support experience

Good routing and switching experience

Strong DNS experience

Need Load Balancing SME; Good experience with load balancing options and features including OneConnect, Persistence, SSL and HTTP

Good experience with iRules and/or iControls

Experience with Capacity/threshold management and workload management

Understanding of programming skills including Python, JAVA, TCL, Javascript, JQuery, Perl

Strong communication skills to work with project managers and solution architects on deliverables
