Responsibilities
Request, collect, and review tax documentation including W-2s, 1099s, prior-year returns, IRS notices, and business income records
Identify missing or inconsistent information and follow up with clients in a timely manner
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during the document collection and preparation phase
Clearly explain documentation requirements, timelines, and next steps
Maintain accurate and detailed case notes, document status, and follow-ups within the CRM
Track deadlines and ensure cases move efficiently through each stage
Coordinate with tax preparers and internal teams once files are complete
Qualification
Required
CTEC certification is a highly preferred
Tax relief or tax resolution experience is a plus; training will be provided
Experience in tax document coordination, tax preparation support, or a similar administrative role
Working knowledge of common tax forms (W-2s, 1099s, prior-year returns)
Experience supporting self-employed individuals, business owners, or clients with property sales is a plus
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Clear written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple cases in a fast-paced environment
Experience using CRM or document management systems
