The internship program will allow the student to use relevant skills to participate in a variety of information technology functions via on-the-job training, focusing on Application Development.

Responsibilities

Work in a team environment: Collaborate with others within and outside the IT group to grow your skills in areas such as business analytics, applications development, application delivery, and project management

Engage with leading-edge technology: Work with leading-edge technology and tools to meet the challenges of the post-frame construction industry

Evaluate and optimize business functions: Work with the application development team to evaluate user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate, enhance, and/or optimize business functions using Microsoft C# .Net, Swift, SQL Server, and Microsoft Web technologies

Experience agile development practices: Be exposed to agile development practices

Complete special projects: Complete special projects as needed and other duties assigned

Participate in special projects and assist in other duties as assigned

Required

Targeted graduation date during the 2026/2027 school year or students completing schooling at the end of 2025 but still needing to satisfy an internship requirement

Pursing a degree in Computer Science, Software Development, Mobile App Development, with a focus on data structures, data mining, application development, or related discipline

Strong technical and organizational skills in addition to excellent written and verbal communication skills in a professional environment

A high level of integrity, accuracy, dependability, enthusiasm and confidentiality

Must be highly motivated with the ability to meet daily deadlines

Self-starter with a positive, willing-to-learn attitude

Able to work independently, as well as able to work will in a team setting

Service minded with excellent communication and solid documentation skills
