Marketing/Operational Recruiting Associate (Nigeria)

They are looking for a Recruiting Associate to lead their hiring initiatives, focusing on recruitment for Marketing and Administrative roles while building scalable hiring systems.

Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end recruitment for Marketing and Administrative/Back Office roles, including sourcing, screening, and onboarding
Build and manage a local recruitment team, including freelance recruiters and sourcing specialists as needed
Collaborate with the sales and operations team to understand hiring needs and translate them into effective recruitment strategies
Create and maintain candidate pipelines for common roles (e.g., Paid ads, Social media, customer service, virtual assistants, sales reps, etc.)
Oversee hiring compliance and advise on best practices in employment standards
Implement and optimize ATS tools, assessments, and scorecards to ensure consistent candidate evaluation
Maintain key hiring KPIs (time to fill, quality of hire, candidate satisfaction)
Represent the company at local job fairs or networking events, when relevant
Qualification
Required
3+ years of recruitment experience, preferably in high-volume or international settings
Based in Nigeria with deep knowledge of the local labor market and talent pools
Exceptional English, both written and verbal
Familiarity with ATS platforms (Jazz preferred)
Strong communication, organization, and time management skills
A bias toward action and the ability to work in a fast-paced, startup-like environment
Ability to work EST
Preferred
Prior experience in remote or international recruiting
Experience recruiting for U.S.-based clients
Understanding of Nigerian labor laws and employment classifications
