They are seeking a motivated mental health trainee to develop clinical skills in the assessment and treatment of mental health disorders, providing individual and group therapy while gaining experience in psychosocial assessments and treatment recommendations.

Responsibilities
Develop skills to diagnose and treat mental health disorders using individual and group therapy
Develop skills to complete thorough psychosocial assessments
Develop skills to make treatment recommendation and develop treatment goals
Provide weekly individual and group counseling using evidence based treatments
Learn how to effectively terminate a treatment relationship
Make referrals as appropriate
Practice in an interdisciplinary treatment setting
Participate in individual and group supervision
Document in an electronic medical record
Develop and implement an evaluation project
Have an individualized learning agreement
Attend weekly intern cohort meeting
And other tasks as needed
Qualification
Required
Graduate Student: Enrolled in a Masters level program
Must have a social work or counselor training license
Excellent organizational skills
Must have good writing skills
Dependable and reliable
Team-oriented and self-motivated troubleshooter with resourcefulness and initiative
Proficient in Microsoft office: Word, Outlook, PowerPoint
Preferred
Working towards Masters Degree in Social Work or Counseling
