5+ years expMID Construction Group is seeking a highly experienced and motivated Construction Project Manager / QA/QC Manager to lead their ground-up apartment building general contracting projects. In this hybrid role, the successful candidate will manage overall project execution while overseeing quality assurance and quality control to ensure compliance with required standards and regulations.

Responsibilities
Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans
Identify and manage project risks and issues, and develop contingency plans as needed
Communicate with clients, stakeholders, and project team members to ensure project objectives are understood and met
Work with architects, engineers, and other consultants to ensure project requirements are properly defined, documented, and aligned with quality standards
Manage procurement, including subcontractor and supplier selection, contract negotiation, and purchase orders
Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, suppliers, and project teams to ensure compliance with project requirements and quality standards
Implement and monitor QA/QC procedures to ensure that all work meets contractual, regulatory, and safety standards
Ensure proper execution and maintenance of all project documentation, including contracts, change orders, inspection reports, and quality records
Monitor project progress and prepare regular status reports for clients and stakeholders, including QA/QC reports
Ensure timely submission of project invoices and follow up on payments
Lead project closeout activities, including final project documentation, quality audits, and handover to the client
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management, specifically ground-up apartment building projects
Strong background in QA/QC management, with experience implementing quality control procedures on multifamily projects
Proven track record of managing multiple projects successfully
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite
Thorough understanding of construction safety standards and regulatory requirements
