Responsibilities
Design and develop mechanical components and systems using advanced engineering software
Conduct Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to evaluate the performance of designs under various conditions
Apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles to ensure precision in manufacturing processes
Perform root cause analysis on mechanical failures and implement corrective actions
Utilize Arduino and LabView for prototyping and testing of mechanical systems
Collaborate with electrical engineers on projects involving logic controllers and quantum engineering applications
Prepare detailed technical documentation, including specifications, reports, and presentations for stakeholders
Participate in design reviews, providing insights and recommendations for improvements
Qualification
Required
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship now or in the future
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in mechanical design
Proficiency in FEA tools and GD&T practices
Experience in root cause analysis methodologies to troubleshoot engineering issues
Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with team members and stakeholders
Preferred
Familiarity with Arduino programming and LabView software is highly desirable
Knowledge of quantum engineering concepts is a plus
