Commercial Real Estate Legal Assistant
LHH is partnering with a respected Florida business law firm to add a Commercial Real Estate Legal Assistant to their Orlando office. The role involves supporting multiple attorneys in a fast-paced environment, handling calendar management, document preparation, and client communications.
Responsibilities
Heavy calendar management, meeting coordination, and client communication
Time entry and expense processing; invoice tracking
Drafting/editing purchase & sale agreements, leases, conveyance/closing documents
Preparing closing statements, disbursement requests, and wire authorizations
Assembling closing packages and post-closing binders; maintaining transaction records (physical & electronic)
Preparing local/state permit applications and supporting lobbyist registration reporting
Qualification
Required
3+ years as a Legal Assistant in commercial real estate or a similar transactional practice
High proficiency in Microsoft Office and PDF tools
Comfort with legal document management and legal accounting software (iManage a plus)
Meticulous attention to detail, stellar organization, and ability to manage shifting priorities independently
Preferred
Florida Notary is a nice-to-have
