Responsibilities

Assist in developing and maintaining the underlying middleware software that powers EPB’s customer-facing internal applications and websites

Learn to write solid, efficient, and readable code

Participate in department scrum meetings to learn software and engineering best practices

Contribute to the progress of the team in an efficient manner

Assist in performing root cause analysis (RCA) and learn how systems are integrated

Assist with documentation of supporting knowledge architecture and standards

Perform after-hours support duties as needed to sustain systems, software, and customer-impacting internal tools– 24/7/365

Required

1-2 years of related experience

Database and SQL experience

Experience communicating technical concepts to non-technical audiences

Possess and maintain a current, valid driver's license in state of residence and demonstrate safe and responsible operation of motor vehicles

Received a 'Meets Expectations' or higher overall rating on last annual performance appraisal and no disciplinary actions (verbal or written) during previous appraisal period
