Responsibilities
Review and analyze AML alerts generated in FCRM, identifying red flags such as structuring, high-risk or high-volume transactions, and changes in customer behavior
Review alerted activity and at least 30 days of transaction history, performing appropriate research to explain customer behavior
Conduct customer profile checks to validate transaction legitimacy and expected activity
Perform basic investigations using internal systems and external data sources
Determine alert disposition:
Close alerts as non-suspicious with proper rationale, or
Escalate alerts for enhanced investigation when required
Document findings and decisions clearly in FCRM using prescribed formats
Ensure all reviews adhere to AML policies, regulatory requirements, and internal procedures
Qualification
Required
Basic understanding of AML regulations, including BSA, OFAC, and related AML laws
2–4 years of experience in AML transaction monitoring, investigations, or compliance operations
Strong analytical and investigative skills with the ability to identify patterns and anomalies
High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and decision-making
Basic knowledge of financial products, customer profiles, and transaction risk indicators
Ability to work onsite and follow structured review workflows
Preferred
Hands-on experience with FCRM or similar AML monitoring systems
Prior experience in banking or financial services AML operations
