Business Development Manager – Recruitment (Commission-Only) | Remote (Canada)
SkillNest Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Business Development Manager – Recruitment to expand their client base across Canada. The role involves generating new business through outreach, managing client relationships, and securing recruitment agreements in a commission-only structure.

Responsibilities
Build a targeted prospect list of Canadian employers and decision-makers (HR, TA, Hiring Managers, Owners, Ops)
Generate new business through LinkedIn outreach, cold email, and phone calls (no in-person events required)
Run discovery calls to understand hiring needs, budgets, timelines, and process
Present SKILL NEST RECRUITMENT’s value proposition, screening process, and delivery timelines
Secure job orders and recruitment agreements (exclusive or non-exclusive)
Manage client relationships from onboarding through placement, including interview coordination and feedback
Work closely with recruiters to ensure timely candidate delivery and smooth execution
Negotiate recruitment fees and confirm commercial terms, invoicing, and payment contacts
Maintain a clean sales pipeline and provide regular activity/pipeline updates
Qualification
Required
5+ years in recruitment sales / staffing business development (Canada market preferred)
Proven ability to win new clients and job orders
Strong communication, negotiation, and closing skills
Comfortable in a commission-only model
